Toyotetsu North America (TTNA) is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support HR operations across multiple locations. This role plays a key part in ensuring HR processes are compliant, organized, data-driven, and service-oriented. The ideal candidate enjoys working with systems and data, thrives in structured environments, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely support to both team members and leadership. This position reports to the TTNA HR Assistant Manager and partners closely with plant HR teams, leadership, payroll, and external vendors. Responsibilities
As an HR Specialist, you will support daily HR operations while helping strengthen internal systems, compliance practices, and reporting capabilities. Responsibilities include supporting HRIS administration (Paycom preferred), generating headcount and HR metric reports, assisting with payroll backup, and maintaining the integrity of HR data. You will contribute to monthly HR audits and compliance initiatives, including personnel file reviews, I-9 documentation, and EEO reporting. You'll help ensure policies, workflows, and documentation standards are consistent and audit-ready across locations. This role also supports recruitment coordination, onboarding processes, performance management documentation, and benefits administration. You'll assist leadership with HR reporting and dashboards that provide insight into turnover, attendance, retention, and other key metrics. In addition, you will help maintain organized document storage systems, support policy updates, and assist with continuous improvement of HR processes. Qualifications
We are seeking a professional with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of HR fundamentals. The ideal candidate has experience in HR operations or HRIS support and is comfortable working with confidential information and data reporting. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 25 years of HR or HR operations experience Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom experience preferred) Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements Excellent communication and customer service skills This position is based on site at our Somerset, Kentucky facility and requires daily in-office attendance. This is not a remote or hybrid role. The position operates in an open office environment with occasional travel to other TTNA locations as needed.
