Sandbox Theatre is a year‑round youth theatre in Mamaroneck, NY. The Sandbox has productions for different divisions of performers from elementary school through high school and college. In addition, we run a full slate of productions in local schools throughout the year.
DESCRIPTION Seeking costume designers for upcoming productions of Puffs (tweens), Mary Poppins (kids), and Children of Eden (teens). The Costume Designer will be responsible for overall design of the costumes, measurements and fittings, pulling from stock and making purchases, being present for tech and dress rehearsals, and coordinating strike.
Applicants with a driver's license and personal vehicle are preferred.
The stipend is per production so this can be filled by different people for each show, or one or two on multiple shows.
Dates of openings are as follows
Puffs opens May 9th
Mary Poppins opens May 29th
Children of Eden opens May 22nd
DURATION Mar 15, 2026 - May 31, 2026
SALARY $2,700.00 – $3,400.00 per gig
