We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support all property management and financial objectives for Fort Management's managed portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate can manage multiple properties at a maximum performance level.

Responsibilities
Perform routine property inspections and schedule vendor repairs as needed.
Coordinate tenant service requests related to property operations and administration.
Facilitate and maintain the tenant work order system.
Coordinate property-related document administration, including memos, monthly reports, and proposals, with Property Managers.
Assist Property Managers in managing capital expenditure projects.
Maintain service contracts, track expiration dates, and prepare bid packages when necessary.
Assist Property Managers with monthly and periodic tenant billing and collections.
Administer collection procedures and follow up on delinquencies.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
Communicate technical and financial information effectively with maintenance staff, tenants, and management.
Track vendor and tenant certificate of insurance (COI) expirations and ensure compliance.
Code and process vendor and property-related invoices.
Maintain building security measures, document incidents, and notify management as required.
Requirements
1-2 years of Property Management experience.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Yardi.
Knowledgeable in local, state, and federal laws that pertain to industrial/office/retail building management and tenant rights.
Awareness of safety, risk management, and preventative maintenance procedures.
Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with tenants.
