Canvas Property Group is seeking a detail-oriented Lease Administrator to support internal leasing operations and lease retention administration for a New York City residential portfolio. This role reports to the Director of Revenue while also supporting the Revenue Manager and is primarily focused on internal lease processing, data entry, document management, and compliance recordkeeping. The Lease Administrator’s main responsibilities include ensuring lease data is accurately entered, maintained, and tracked across internal systems for both rent-regulated and free-market units. The role supports Leasing, Property Management, and Revenue teams through consistent execution and documentation. Canvas is growing firm that manages 2,000+ apartments, many of which fall under rent regulation and tax-incentive programs requiring precise record keeping. This is a w2 salary position with benefits and bonus tied to success of the firm and leases executed. Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday) Reports To: Director(s) of Revenue Employment Type: Full-Time Primary Responsibilities

Enter, process and maintain both vacancy and renewal lease records, sublets, lease riders, lease terminations and regulatory data in Yardi, On-Site and Airtable. Setting up tenant billing and ledger adjustments for both vacancies and existing tenants. Maintain organized digital files of executed leases, riders, regulatory notices, and supporting documentation. Assist as needed in tracking lease renewal status. Perform internal review audits to ensure lease data matches approved terms and regulatory requirements. Coordinate internally with Leasing, Revenue, and Property Management teams to maintain the leasing life cycle. Monitor deadlines and follow internal checklists to ensure timely completion of lease administration. Provide administrative support for ad hoc projects related to new buildings, portfolio changes, or system implementations. Qualifications

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in NYC real estate administration, lease processing, or property operations. Must have knowledge of NYC rent regulation (Rent Stabilized, Rent Controlled, DHCR, Rental Guidelines Board) Must have experience in Yardi. Must have experience using On-Site. Strong data entry and document management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable performing repetitive, process-driven work with consistency and accuracy. Highly organized and possessing a strong awareness of deadlines. Able to follow established procedures and checklists. Strong written communication skills for internal correspondence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Compensation

(W2 Base salary + Performance-based bonus)
