Senior Analyst
to join its underwriting team in Darien, CT. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong credit acumen and experience in bridge lending or transitional real estate finance.
Qualifications
1-3+ years of experience i n real estate finance, credit analysis, bridge lending, or private lending
Strong understanding of t ransitional/bridge loan structures
Advance d financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required)
Experience underwriting value-add or opportunistic real estate transactions preferred
Ability to assess risk across multiple asset classes
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
Key Responsibilities
Lead
underwriting and credit analysis for bridge and transitional real estate loans
Perform detailed financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment
Evaluate borrower financials, project feasibility, and collateral quality
Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the credit committee
Conduct market research and support valuation analysis
Coordinate with borrowers, brokers, legal counsel, and third-party vendors
Assist in structuring loan terms and negotiating deal points
Monitor portfolio performance and support asset management initiatives
