The Sales Supervisor
will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and ensuring an exceptional customer experience within our retail store. The successful candidate will lead a team of sales associates, fostering a culture of excellence and customer service, and will be responsible for implementing effective sales tactics to drive store revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong retail background with a proven track record of driving sales performance and developing a loyal clientele. In addition to being a top producer, this individual must have prior supervisory experience and the ability to reinforce accountability, structure, and daily operational standards while contributing to overall team success.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to ensure team members meet and exceed sales goals.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and individual success.
In coordination with management, implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Collaborate with the management team to create and execute promotions and events that drive foot traffic and sales.
Ensure an unparalleled customer experience through excellent product knowledge, service, and engagement.
Resolve customer issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall store ambiance.
Track individual and team performance against sales targets.
Provide regular reports to management on sales metrics, trends, and team achievements.
Ensure incentive programs to motivate and reward high-performing team members are being followed.
Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and ensure product availability.
Supervise inventory control measures to minimize losses and discrepancies.
Maintain and apply company’s procedures and policies at all times
Maintain appropriate physical and apparel appearance utilizing uniform standards approved by retail management
Direct opening and closing procedures; delegate tasks to sales associates
Perform cash handling, reconciliation, credit card processing, and banking duties
Enforce compliance with safety policies and regulations
Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel
Report on employee attendance, productivity, and daily operations
Assist with the weekly Retail Update report, providing insights and feedback to the manager or sending on their behalf if they are absent.
Collaborate with the management team to facilitate client engagement initiatives, including special store events, exclusive VIP experiences, bespoke holiday and birthday gifts, and developing grassroots community activities.
Required Skills/Abilities and Qualifications:
Four+ years of retail sales experience preferably within a luxury retail environment
Demonstrated success in leadership role
Passion of delivering exceptional customer service
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be a strong team player, punctual, and excellent attendance record
Ability to multi-task, and prioritize tasks
Strong professional and personable demeanor
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Familiar with POS terminals, tablets, phone
Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Must sign an NDA
Physical Requirements:
Comfortable standing for long periods of time, physically mobile; can lift up to 20 pounds
