Sales Estimator

We are seeking a Cost / Sales Estimator to support quoting, pricing, and customer engagement activities for a precision gear manufacturing operation in the western suburbs.
Duties / Functions
Review RFQs, drawings, and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates
Analyze material, labor, machining time, subcontract processes (heat treat, grinding, etc.), and overhead
Collaborate with engineering and operations to validate manufacturability and routing assumptions
Prepare and present customer quotations and pricing proposals
Qualifications
3+ years of estimating, cost analysis, or technical sales support experience in manufacturing
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Experience in a precision machine shop / CNC environment
preferred, not required
Solid Excel skills and comfort working with ERP/MRP systems
