To facilitate our growth objectives, we are adding a new Senior Interior Designer. As one of our Senior Interior Designers, you will be an integral member of our Home Creation Studio team, providing guidance and assistance to our customers throughout the planning of the structural and interior design phase of the planning process. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will support other designers on the Home Creation Studio team and lead an area of focus to strengthen processes and support continued growth. Eastbrook Homes Home Creation Studio is currently being remodeled and is expected to re-open this spring. It is a facility that has been a national award-winning facility designed to enhance the customer experience in a beautiful environment and with an efficient process. Primary functions will include assisting buyers plan for their new homes by presenting the available plan and selection options already created/determined by Eastbrook Homes. This role will also be responsible for working within set budgets, problem solving, space planning as necessary, kitchen cabinet explanation and computer systems.

What you will be doing…

Working within set processes to help someone plan for their new home

Read floor plans and draw options on plans to scale. Understand and create electrical sketches. Sketch kitchen cabinet and bath layouts. Explain floor plans

Specify materials, such as cabinetry, countertops, flooring, paint colors, light fixtures, exterior siding and stone, etc.…

Process information in specific pricing software. Write change requests that can be understood by estimating and architecture teams.

Document selections with accuracy and complete information.

Work in a team orientated environment

Meet deadlines and work within specific time frames

What you need…

Strong awareness of industry trends paired with creative design vision

A minimum of 5 years of work experience within an Interior Design or related field

Ability to read architectural plans

Kitchen and bath cabinet design experience and knowledge

Bluebeam and/or AutoCad proficiency

Interior residential product knowledge

Detail oriented

Computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Good math and problem-solving aptitude

Exceptional attitude, enthusiasm and desire to make a difference

Experience with kitchen cabinet design is a bonus

Interior Design: 5 to 10 years (Preferred)
