Summary The Account Manager III is accountable for delivering excellent and efficient service through day-to-day account management of assigned accounts. The Account Manager III has a direct impact on agency success by achieving client retention goals, effectively and consistently ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, trust, respect and teamwork while focusing on continuous improvement. The Account Manager III will serve as a mentor to Account Manager I(s), Account Manager II(s), and new Producers, provide direction to Account Manager Assistants I and II, and support experienced Producers. The Account Manager III uses discretion and judgment in determining coverage needs for clients and in carrier and client negotiations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Establishes and builds customer and carrier relationships
Responds to client coverage inquiries
Reviews contracts and agreements for insurance coverage compliance
Remarkets renewals with carriers to include gathering information and reviewing applications and submissions for accuracy and completeness
Negotiates terms, pricing and conditions with carriers
Recommends appropriate insurance coverage, binds coverage, manages timely production and delivery of renewal policies
Contacts clients regarding outstanding receivables
Functions as a high level strategic partner to the client
Identified as the Account Management subject matter expert on coverages
Proactively uses agency resources, such outsourced partners, technologies, etc., and processes in order to create efficiencies within your processes; encourage other in utilization of these resources as well
Monitors functions performed by junior-level Account Managers and Account Manager Assistants, and supports, mentors and trains as necessary
Performs other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
5+ years experienced in a senior account manager role
Superior customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal English communications skills required
Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
Ability to work a regular, full-time work schedule at HUB’s facility(s) and willingness to travel on business when required
Supervisory, project leader, mentor or team leader experience preferred
Education, Licensing Or Certification Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred
Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states with all necessary CE credits
Advanced professional designation highly desirable (e.g. AAI, ARM, CIC)

Required Experience 5-7 years of relevant experience
Required Travel Negligible
Required Education Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
