Influencer and Creator Partnerships Manager

Magna, Los Angeles, CA, United States

Magna

is a sports lifestyle company inspiring athletes and enthusiasts to Play The Long Game. Our first product is a magnesium-powered hydration formula that unlocks greater focus, energy, and recovery. Founded by

Michael Preysman

(Everlane) and backed by

Forerunner

and

Sugar

Capital , we have signed world‑class athletes across surfing, running, cycling, and fighting as founding partners.

Magna is a part of The Ever Company, a longevity‑focused consumer health and wellness holding company.

About the Role The Influencer & Creator Partnerships Manager will own and evolve Magna’s end‑to‑end creator ecosystem across

commission‑based affiliate ,

creator/UGC content ,

whitelisting , and a

select large influencer/celebrity program . This role is responsible for building the strategy and operating system that turns creators into a reliable growth channel — from recruitment to onboarding, contracting, briefs, seeding, optimization, and performance reporting.

This is a highly autonomous role for an operator who can build structure from scratch and run the program with minimal direction. You’ll be expected to create the frameworks, rhythms, and standards that enable the program to grow sustainably while maintaining quality, brand alignment, and performance.

Magna is primarily DTC on Shopify today, with TikTok expansion ahead and major retail partners coming online in 2026 — so this role will build a creator engine that drives DTC growth now and becomes retail‑supportive later (awareness, launch moments, and retailer‑ready content needs).

You will manage

one

team member focused on outreach support, data pulls, product tracking, and program coordination.

Responsibilities

Own the creator partnerships strategy

across affiliate, UGC/content, whitelisting, and larger influencer/celebrity partnerships — setting goals, tiers, standards, and operating cadence

Continuously improve creator sourcing

and recruitment across micro, mid, macro, and select talent — balancing volume, quality, and brand fit

Build creator briefs t hat reliably produce on‑brand, high‑performing content (hooks, claims guardrails, do’s/don’ts, shot lists, examples, edit notes)

Own product seeding strategy and logistics coordination

— ensuring creators receive product on time, tracking shipments, managing replenishment, and controlling costs

Build and manage a whitelisting program

that is frictionless for creators and effective for Growth (permissions, handle access, flighting windows, renewals, creative organization)

Oversee retail influencer program

in 2026 by building a creator bench + content library and playbooks built for major launch moments

Own affiliate program operations and optimization:

creator activation, repeat posting, conversion rate, AOV, revenue contribution, and cohort quality

Partner with Growth

to identify content to amplify, create a consistent testing pipeline, and translate learnings into better briefs and better output

Establish dashboards and reporting rhythms

(weekly performance snapshots + monthly insights + quarterly program planning)

Build SOPs, templates, and systems

that allow the program to grow cleanly (tracking, comms, contracting, seeding, deliverables, rights management)

Manage one direct report

and ensure they are effective across outreach, data pulls, tracking, and coordination

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

Grow influencer / whitelisting revenue by 4x

from its current state including all programs (affiliate, whitelisting, influencer partnerships)

Create a clear, repeatable creator operating system

that can grow without losing brand quality, operational control, or performance visibility

Define and implement creator tiers, offers, guardrails, and workflows

that make it easy for creators to win and easy for Magna to scale relationships responsibly

Build a predictable monthly engine for:

(a) Creator recruitment and activation, (b) Time‑to‑first‑post and content throughput, (c) Repeat posting and retention, (d) Whitelisting‑ready content volume and turnaround time, (e) Ongoing affiliate performance improvements

Execute a small number of higher‑impact influencer/celebrity partnerships

with excellent craft, clean operations, and clear post‑campaign learnings

Lay the foundation for retail support in 2026

with a creator bench, content library, and launch playbooks that can be deployed across retailer moments

Required Skills

4–6 years of experience in influencer/creator partnerships , affiliate marketing, or creator performance for a DTC brand or agency (with DTC clients)

Demonstrated ability to build and operate creator programs

— comfortable owning both relationships and operations end‑to‑end

Strong negotiator

with experience owning contracts, deliverables, rights, whitelisting permissions, and renewals

Highly organized operator

who can build SOPs, templates, and systems from scratch and run them reliably

Performance‑minded:

comfortable with attribution, dashboards, testing loops, and using data to make decisions

Strong creative instinct and taste

Excellent communication skills

— can manage creators and cross‑functional partners with clarity and speed
