SUMMARY The In-Store Training Specialist is responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs companywide in our stores for in-store employees, with a focus on Front-Line Sales Associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Train Store Directors in the following

Cash reporting (CDB/OCR, Over/Shorts, Deposits, Safe cash)

Weekly mail process.

Inventory processes

Eagle Mobile +, Eagle PO'S

Create & Receive normal, credit, Defective PO's, Keep PO Files clean),

Between store transfers

Store use items

PaintColorant Inventory

PIP/RPI

Mango counts,

Placeholder SKU's updates

RGA Returns

Policy A returns

Policy B&C returns

Acehardware.com returns

RSO, RSO Acceptance

Shoot the Outs Process

Price Changes audit (IPC/RPC process)

Price Variance by store (Compass, ADW report)

Item Change Management (ICM)

Mango COM process

Planogram changes – (ADW report cancelled and closeout SKU's to COM) Planogram change Management

New Item Request

ITR Review each month

House Account audit (RAG, over 60 report) each month

Train new associates as needed on all processes related to Inventory

Communicating with management to identify training needs

Mapping out development plans for teams and individuals.

Assist in the implementation and standardization of all Standard Operating Procedures companywide.

Travel as needed to each location

Others duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Training & guiding Ace Management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting

Experience with e-learning platforms

Microsoft Office proficiency

Minimum of 2 years' retail management experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS · Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages, distribution, penetration, gross profit, and sales per associate hour)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS · Some locations may require Power Industrial Truck Certification
