Logan Contractors Supply is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our presence in the surrounding Des Moines construction market. This role is built for a self‑motivated professional who thrives on building relationships, winning business, and becoming a trusted partner to contractors and project teams.
This is a field‑first position for someone who prefers jobsites over desks and takes ownership of their territory’s growth and success.
What You’ll Do
Develop and grow relationships with concrete contractors and construction professionals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory
Maintain consistent jobsite and customer visits
Quote projects, follow up on opportunities, and close business
Anticipate customer needs and provide practical jobsite solutions
Work closely with operations and inside sales to deliver a high level of service
Take ownership of territory performance and customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For Required:
Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
Self‑starter mentality with the ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license
Ability to load and strap a trailer
Preferred:
2+ years of outside sales or construction industry experience, with preference given to candidates familiar with concrete, construction supply, or equipment rental
Existing contractor relationships in the Des Moines market
Mechanical aptitude or jobsite experience
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary with an uncapped commission potential
