Job Summary The Marketing Operations Manager supports marketing campaigns and initiatives for a flagship mobile app experience. Reporting to marketing leadership, this role is responsible for managing workflows, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently and on schedule.

This highly collaborative and execution‑focused position oversees project timelines, tools, and processes to keep marketing initiatives organized and scalable. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in marketing operations and thrives in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments. This is a hybrid work position.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign & Launch Project Management

Own end‑to‑end project management for marketing launches, partnerships, and events.

Build and manage timelines, dependencies, and cross‑functional workstreams.

Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Identify and proactively resolve risks or bottlenecks.

Cross‑Functional Coordination & Communication

Partner with Marketing, CRM, Editorial, Programming, Social, and Sales teams to align priorities.

Lead project kickoffs, status updates, and post‑mortems.

Manage stakeholder expectations across distributed teams.

Facilitate clear communication across all levels of the organization.

Workflow & Process Optimization

Oversee and improve project management tools and marketing calendars.

Develop and document new processes to enhance efficiency.

Create standardized briefs and workflows to streamline execution.

Identify opportunities to improve campaign velocity and reduce friction.

Reporting & Operational Visibility

Track campaign milestones and progress.

Build reporting structures around deliverables and dependencies.

Maintain documentation and marketing calendars.

Support post‑launch recaps and operational analysis.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

Experience

3–5 years of operations experience within digital marketing, app marketing, media, or subscription‑based organizations.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Familiarity with app‑related KPIs such as daily active users (DAU), retention, and push performance preferred.

Skills & Abilities

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent communication skills with ability to align diverse teams.

Experience with project management tools such as Airtable and Jira.

Comfortable building systems and improving workflows.

Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
