Job Summary The Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Client Stabilization Specialist is a shelter or temporary lodging site‑based position whose primary role is to work with individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The specialist will conduct intakes into the HMIS, provide education on rules and responsibilities, orient clients while in shelter or temporary lodging, conduct face‑to‑face visits, perimeter walks, and manage escalation of issues that impact stabilization. The specialist will communicate with leadership and Client Care Coordinators on program violations, identify needs of clients with complex substance use, mental health, housing, and medical care needs, complete data entry (violations, end‑of‑shift notes, room checks) and ensure completion of a housing prioritization assessment for all individuals.

Skills / Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 12 months recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders.

1–3 years full‑time health‑care related work experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
