Engagement Specialist
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient‑centered medical homes, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness across Arizona.
Job Summary The Engagement Specialist provides focused customer‑service support to individuals hesitant to enroll in crisis services while on CBI premises. By sharing personal experience, strength, and hope, the specialist helps minimize the emotional impact of crisis, inpatient, and residential admissions and discourages continued alcohol or other drug (AOD) use. The specialist also supports unit staff and completes intake documents when needed, working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team that includes supervisors, nurses, clinicians, peer support specialists, and providers.
Skills / Requirements
High‑school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Health‑care related experience providing adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred, but not required.
