Volkert is seeking an experienced
Real Estate Specialist
to support Right of Way acquisition efforts across our Gulf Region, based in
Little Rock, AR . In this role, you will play a key part in delivering infrastructure projects that positively impact communities throughout Arkansas.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage and coordinate Right of Way acquisition projects from initiation through closeout
Review title commitments, plats, and plans to support acquisition strategy
Perform QA/QC functions to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements
Serve as a liaison between property owners and project stakeholders
Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and landowners
Prepare documentation and reports using Microsoft Office tools
What you need to have:
Experience in real estate, land acquisition, or Right of Way services
Ability to read and interpret title commitments and ROW plats/plans
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to obtain an Arkansas Notary license
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state‑specific guidelines
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
Bonus points if you have:
Arkansas Real Estate Salesperson License
Experience supporting public infrastructure or DOT‑related projects
Working knowledge of acquisition compliance requirements
