Agribusiness Credit Officer

The Agribusiness Credit Officer analyzes and provides written recommendations for credit decisions based on financial information and projections. Responsibilities include: Analyzing financial statements and projections Reviewing loan requests for eligibility and compliance Recommending loan terms and covenants Drafting credit narratives to assess financial strength Participating in Loan Committee discussions and votes Supporting special projects in Agribusiness, Capital Markets, and Credit Require a Bachelor's degree in agriculture, finance, or agribusiness. 1 year credit analysis and decision-making experience, or completion of Credit Training Program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. The ideal candidate must possess a general knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, credit analysis, ag economics, and farming practices. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Skilled in reading and understanding income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports, analyzing information to formulate logical and objective conclusions, gathering, compiling, and organizing information, and writing concise, logical, grammatically correct analytical reports to explain credit determination.
