Pricing Analyst
We are seeking a data-driven Pricing Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play an important part in shaping our pricing strategy by analyzing data that impacts price perception, sales performance, and margin. You will partner closely with Category Managers and merchandising leaders to ensure pricing decisions remain competitive while supporting the company's financial goals. What You'll Do
Develop a strong understanding of the company's pricing systems to support Category Managers and answer pricing-related questions.
Manage and maintain competitive pricing URLs to ensure accurate market comparisons within pricing models.
Analyze pricing within assigned categories to ensure alignment with customer expectations and competitive positioning.
Communicate pricing review timelines and deadlines with Category Managers.
Consolidate and summarize weekly pricing updates and activities for leadership review.
Use data analytics to evaluate lifecycle pricing strategies and identify opportunities to improve sales and margin performance.
Create reports and visualizations that help stakeholders make informed, data-driven pricing decisions.
Recommend improvements to pricing models, processes, and reporting.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity when working with sensitive pricing and financial information.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field preferred.
13 years of analytical experience in Retail, Merchandising, Pricing, or Consumer Goods preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Skills & Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of pricing methodologies.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with Word, Access, and PowerPoint preferred.
Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and translate insights into recommendations.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
