About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Director for its obstetrics department to provide leadership and support, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered maternal care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the OB unit, supporting staff, and clinical quality initiatives, maintaining regulatory compliance, and, when necessary, assisting with bedside care. This role requires a leader with a strong background in women's services and obstetrics, capable of guiding teams in a collaborative and hands-on environment. The Interim Director will oversee a team of approximately 30 FTEs and must be highly organized, patient-focused, and adaptable to the changing needs of the department.
Applicants for the Interim Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree, an active California RN license, and a minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in obstetrics or women's services within an acute care setting. The role demands a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the highest standards of maternal care. The ideal candidate will be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and should be prepared to make a significant impact on the department during their interim tenure.
