About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Director for its obstetrics department to provide leadership and support in delivering high-quality, patient-centered maternal care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the OB unit, overseeing a team of approximately 30 FTEs, and ensuring the department meets clinical quality and regulatory standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, including the ability to assist with bedside care when necessary, and a focus on maintaining a collaborative and supportive environment for staff. The Interim Director will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and staff development within the department.
Applicants for the Interim Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree, an active RN license in California, and a minimum of five years' progressive leadership experience in obstetrics or women's services within an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in women's health and obstetrics, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills. The role demands a leader who is patient-focused, can adapt to changing needs, and is committed to ensuring the highest standards of care for patients.
