We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Producer to join our expanding insurance agency. This role is ideal for a proven producer who enjoys advising clients, closing new business, and building long‑term relationships. Producers will have access to bank referral opportunities while maintaining the ability to build and grow their own book of business. Our operational support allows producers to focus on what they do best—advising clients, developing relationships, and closing new business.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development

Generate new personal lines business including home, auto, umbrella, and specialty coverages

Convert inbound referrals and leads into new client relationships

Proactively develop new opportunities through networking and relationship‑building

Identify cross‑sell opportunities within existing client relationships

Conduct coverage reviews and recommend appropriate insurance solutions

Provide competitive quotes through multiple carrier partners

Guide clients through the quoting, coverage selection, and binding process

Educate clients on risk exposures and coverage options

Referral Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with internal referral partners and bank employees

Respond quickly and professionally to referral opportunities

Maintain consistent communication to strengthen referral partnerships

Pipeline & Performance Management

Maintain an active pipeline of new business opportunities

Track production and meet or exceed established sales goals

Maintain accurate documentation within the agency management system

What Success Looks Like

Building a growing and profitable personal lines book of business

Consistently converting referrals and leads into long‑term clients

Developing strong relationships with bank partners and referral sources

Providing thoughtful coverage guidance that leads to high client retention and cross‑sell opportunities

Consistently generating strong new business production and establishing yourself as a top‑performing producer within the agency

Currently possess or must obtain Kansas/Missouri Property & Casualty License and Kansas/Missouri Life & Health License. CISR, CIC or other insurance related designations are preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.
