Real Estate Specialist
to join a leading organization with significant national operations. This role will support the company’s centralized real estate team in managing a portfolio of over 360 locations nationwide. The Real Estate Specialist will play a key role in lease administration, site selection, and coordinating real estate transactions while partnering with brokers, landlords, and internal stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities of the Real Estate Specialist Role
Support the management of a national real estate portfolio consisting of 360+ locations.
Draft and execute commercial lease agreements, amendments, and related documentation.
Perform lease analysis, prepare lease abstracts, and assist with negotiation of business terms for real estate transactions.
Maintain and update the lease administration database for the company’s real estate portfolio.
Coordinate with external brokers to identify and evaluate potential new locations and site opportunities.
Support lease renewals, renegotiations, and other portfolio changes.
Research and process zoning, occupancy, and use permit applications as needed.
Manage relationships with brokers, landlords, and subtenants.
Collaborate with contractors, legal counsel, risk management representatives, environmental consultants, and surveyors.
Assist with ongoing portfolio management and special real estate projects as needed.
Requirements of the Real Estate Specialist Role
2–4 years of experience in corporate real estate or commercial property management.
Experience drafting leases, lease abstracts, and supporting lease negotiations.
Exposure to commercial lease agreements and real estate transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to take direction and operate under pressure.
Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and internal procedures.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CoStar.
Compensation $28 – $33/hour
Pay is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
