We are interviewing experienced Assistant Property Managers to join the amazing team at Lakeside Villas located in the Hampton area of South Atlanta, with a property transition planned for mid‑March.

The ideal candidates possess at least 3 years of Assistant Property Manager experience in the multifamily industry, strong accounting and collections skills, detail‑oriented organization, proficiency with Yardi, proven leasing expertise, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service. Yardi, CRM, and Yieldstar experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.

Summary The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for rent collection and posting, delinquency management, move‑out procedures, monthly reporting, resident services, and leasing. The role also assists the Property Manager with assigned duties related to property operations and compliance with company policy and applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Post monthly rent, application fees, deposits, and collections received from residents into the company platform on a timely basis.

Perform leasing duties, including renewals, as required.

Collect monies due after move‑out for damages, additional cleaning charges, etc.

Contact delinquent residents via letters and in person to secure payment, aiming for $0 due by accounting month end.

File eviction paperwork with the property’s attorneys and attend court hearings.

Update the property system to reflect vacating residents, ensuring accurate occupancy records.

Prepare all month‑end close‑out reports, including occupancy, accounting, and Statement of Deposit Accounts (SODA).

Act as the Property Manager in their absence.

Work weekends as required.

Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing regulations.

Complete other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience as an assistant property manager in the multifamily industry.

Working knowledge of property management platforms preferred (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM).

Property accounting experience, rent collection, eviction process, and delinquency, with strong attention to detail.

Apartment leasing experience strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship‑building, and customer service skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask.

Depending on the property, a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required.

Environmental and Physical Demands

Constant walking, standing, and sitting alternately; frequent climbing of stairs; occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pushing/pulling, and reaching above shoulders.

Frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs; occasional lifting over 10 lbs.

Strong finger dexterity for grasping and turning.

Good eyesight and hearing; ability to comprehend, speak, write, and communicate.

Work in a variety of conditions, both indoors and outdoors; moderate noise level.

Possible exposure to caustics, solvents, oils, fumes, flammables, pesticides, etc.
