What This Role Is A
sales‑driven recruiting role
with responsibility for building and growing a book of business in the HR, Supply Chain & Operations space. You will be both
hunter and recruiter , supported by a national brand, strong tools, and a collaborative team.
You will work
onsite in our Portland office three days per week
(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) to partner closely with leadership, collaborate with peers, and drive results.
What You’ll Do
Generate new business
through proactive outreach, prospecting, referrals, and strategic relationship building
Partner with clients to understand hiring needs and craft targeted recruiting strategies
Build and maintain a pipeline of high‑quality candidates across HR, Supply Chain, and Operations
Conduct behavioral‑based interviews and evaluate candidate competencies
Present top talent to clients and manage the full life cycle of the recruitment and placement process
Negotiate fee agreements and manage client relationships with a consultative, solutions‑driven approach
Stay current on market trends, compensation, and competitive landscape
Develop long‑term client partnerships through exceptional service and continued account growth
Drive revenue through consistent activity, high‑quality delivery, and achievement of direct hire placement goals
What You Bring
Minimum 3+ years of recruiting experience
in HR, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar professional verticals
Staffing industry experience required
Proven sales and business development success —you know how to build and grow a book
Experience generating leads, cold calling, and closing client agreements
Strong communication skills and ability to build long‑term relationships
Bachelor’s degree OR 5+ years of relevant professional experience
High level of business acumen and market insight
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation Competative Base salary + commission for your first year
(Commission continues long‑term; structure designed to reward high producers.)
