
Deep Foundation Construction Superintendent

Summary
Coordinate all construction site activities and supervise field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality workmanship and ensuring all safety protocols are practiced with all on‑site activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage construction field operations, including leadership of personnel and company assets (equipment, materials, and project tools).
Lead project activities in accordance with policies, procedures, and contract requirements.
Supervise and coordinate trade personnel to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Oversee construction crews of approximately 8-25 members, including laborers and specialized trade workers.
Plan and organize workflow, coordinating crews, equipment, and materials on‑site.
Ensure project progress aligns with the approved schedule and contract timelines.
Read and interpret blueprints, construction schedules, and project specifications.
Approve and sign off on work schedules, timekeeping, and material deliveries.
Prepare daily reports and required documentation to support project compliance.
Coach, mentor, and train team members to support skill development.
Ensure employees and contractors comply with EEO policies and safety standards.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a drug‑free work environment.
Participate in annual safety and EEO training and conduct policy/protocol reviews for employees and projects.
Assist with administrative tasks, housekeeping, safety inspections, and support the General Superintendent as needed.
Maintain a work environment that protects the health and safety of all personnel and avoids risks that cannot be mitigated through reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
4 years Deep Foundation/Geotechnical Construction crew management experience required.
10+ years Specialty Geotechnical, Deep Foundation or heavy civil construction experience preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents including contracts and specifications.
Experience in scheduling, supervision, quality control, and management of civil construction projects.
Thorough knowledge of construction practices and methods.
Proficient knowledge of construction related reports, workforce management assignments and capabilities, Construction Engineering Capabilities.
OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Card required.
