Workforce Strategy Consultant
to join our team and serve as a critical bridge between employers and job seekers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, community engagement, and workforce development. The position is exempt and does not have a supervisory function. The
salary range is $58,000 – 61,250 annually . Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, life, and dental insurance, internet allowance, paid time off, and 401(k), profit sharing.

Key Responsibilities
Engage with Employers: Build and maintain relationships with businesses to understand their workforce needs, hiring trends, and talent challenges.
Advise on Workforce Strategies: Collaborate with employers to design and implement talent pipelines, upskilling initiatives, and inclusive hiring practices.
Support Job Seekers: Partner with community organizations and training providers to connect job seekers with career pathways, training opportunities, and employment resources.
Analyze Labor Market Trends: Use data to identify workforce gaps, emerging industries, and opportunities for alignment between supply and demand.
Develop Strategic Plans: Contribute to regional workforce strategies, grant proposals, and program evaluations that drive economic mobility and equity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred- Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
3+ years of experience in workforce development, economic development, HR, or related sectors
Proven track record of working within demanding industry environments
such as manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, technology, or construction—where workforce needs are complex, fast-paced, and constantly evolving
Demonstrated experience managing projects and/or programs , including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and performance tracking
Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills with diverse stakeholders
Knowledge of labor market data, workforce systems, and employer engagement best practices
Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills
Ability to work a
hybrid schedule , with a combination of remote and in-person engagements
Willingness to
attend occasional evening and weekend events
as needed to support community and employer outreach
Ability to
travel to various sites , including employer locations, partner organizations, and community events
