Canvas Forum is a real estate brokerage that specializes in acquiring residential single-family homes and reselling them to professional investors. Our business model is one which operates across multiple regions and focuses on high-volume transactions, often utilizing double closings to efficiently move properties from seller to investor.
At present, we are looking for a highly organized and experienced Transaction Coordinator to manage the operational side of each transaction and to help us ensure that each deal moves smoothly from contract to closing.
Position Overview
The Regional Transaction Coordinator will be responsible for managing the administrative and logistical aspects of real estate transactions from contract execution through closing. This role supports the territory General Managers and their Acquisition and Disposition teams by coordinating with title companies, buyers, sellers, and internal staff to ensure that deadlines are met, documents are accurate, and deals close efficiently. This role is

to maintaining the speed and accuracy required in a high-volume investment brokerage environment. Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management
Open and manage transaction files from contract to closing. Review executed contracts and verify completeness and accuracy. Maintain detailed transaction records and documentation. Track deadlines including earnest money deposits, contingencies, title review periods, and closing dates. Title & Escrow Coordination
Submit executed contracts to title companies and open escrow. Coordinate title searches and review title commitments. Identify and communicate potential title issues (liens, taxes, etc.) to internal teams. Work with title companies to resolve issues prior to closing. Double Closing Coordination
Coordinate both sides of double-close transactions (Seller → Company → Investor). Ensure proper sequencing of closings and funding requirements. Confirm settlement statements and closing logistics with title companies. Ensure funding instructions and closing logistics are confirmed. Investor & Client Communication
Communicate with buyers, sellers, and investors regarding transaction status. Confirm receipt of Down Payments and accuracy of documentation. Communicate with General Managers as seller/buyer issues need to be escalated. Post-Closing Administration
Collect and store final closing documents, and submit to accounting for payroll. Update internal CRM and transaction tracking systems. Maintain organized digital files for all completed transactions. Qualifications
Required
Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Previous experience as a real estate Transaction Coordinator or Title Escrow Officer Preferred
Experience with real estate investment transactions or wholesale deals Familiarity with double closings or investor transactions Experience working with title companies and escrow processes Experience with Salesforce or other transaction management CRMs Compensation
Compensation will include a base salary plus per-transaction incentives, depending on experience and transaction volume. Competitive base salary ($40-50k BOE) Bonus per closed transaction (TBD...total comp based on current average transaction load = $75-85k annum and is poised to grow) with additional opportunity for growth as deal volume increases. The ideal candidate thrives in an operations-focused role and enjoys bringing order to complex processes.
