What You’ll Do
Lead sales & marketing efforts across assigned communities
Coach and support community sales leaders (dotted‑line leadership)
Spend 4–5 days/week in community selling, influencing, and closing
Own occupancy performance, KPIs, and forecasting
Build unpaid professional referral pipelines through business development
Guide marketing direction and develop top sales talent
What You Bring
10+ years in senior housing sales/marketing/operations
Proven leadership with multi‑site or market responsibility
CRM experience (Welcome Home, Salesforce, YARDI, etc.)
Willingness to travel up to 75% in market

Responsibilities: Oversees and directs all sales and marketing efforts of assigned communities to include dotted line management of Directors of Community Relations and Sales Managers or Move‑in coordinators as applicable. Will provide strategic direction for all sales and marketing efforts.
Responsible for overseeing occupancy and key sales and marketing indicators in assigned communities, as well as to provide direction to marketing team in preparation of new development marketing plans and collateral.
Works with RVPS, Area Director of Operations, and EDs to give feedback on opportunities to improve sales results at assigned communities.
Works with EDs and Directors of Community Relations to review quarterly Sherpa audits to determine appropriate follow up and trends of key performance indicators for coaching and support purposes.
Reviews final artwork for strategic direction on marketing campaigns including direct mail, print advertising, and website development.
Attends all semi‑annual marketing planning meetings including reviews of previous period’s activities and planning for next 6 months to include goal setting to provide direction and input when needed.
Reviews productivity trends, lead source analysis, event results, and any training or system implementation needs during monthly management meetings.
Participates in semi‑annual StoryTree Sales Workshops as needed.
Oversees and participates in 60‑day orientation for new DCRs and Sales Managers.
Follows all “Company Traditions” as outlined.
Understands key metrics and how they measure against national averages used to baseline.
Participates in company conference calls and meetings.
Provide accurate forecasting for each assigned community as well as tactics being implemented to increase occupancy.
Reviews and oversees business development plans which includes direct development of key professionals in the market to build a professional pipeline of unpaid leads.
Fills in for vacant sales positions and acts in that capacity as needed based on community needs.
Attends and participates in industry educational conferences as requested by management for the purposes of business development and continuing education.
Other duties as directed by the SVP of Sales and Marketing or necessitated by the role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Senior Housing Sales, Marketing and/or operations, in a leadership role
Knowledge of customer relations management programs such as reps/matrix care, Salesforce, Sherpa
Must be available to travel up to 75% of the time
Advanced knowledge of office technology including MS Office
Strong organization and project coordination skills
Attention to detail and ability to multi‑task
Strong communication skills
Understanding of budgeting process including expense and occupancy forecasting
Comfortable working in high‑pressure situations
Team‑oriented; willingness to pitch in and help out
Self‑motivated; takes initiative
Good judgment; ability to prioritize and work independently
