Your role and responsibilities
Define Technical Strategy: Lead the development of a comprehensive technical strategy for clients, incorporating IBM’s Technology Portfolio, including Software and Infrastructure offerings.
Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business and technical challenges, strategies, and priorities, and develop tailored solutions to address their needs.
Develop Client Technical Strategy: Document and execute an IBM Client Technical Strategy (CTS) that aligns with the client’s goals and objectives.
Provide Trusted Advisory: Act as a trusted IT architecture advisor, providing expert guidance on IBM’s Technology Portfolio, including Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, Hybrid Cloud Platform, Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW.
Execute Tactical Engagements: Lead tactical engagements with clients, collaborating with Technology MD/Seller and brand sales to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Required education High School Diploma/GED
Preferred education Master’s Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Deep Expertise in IT Architecture: Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive technical strategies, leveraging a broad range of technologies, including software and infrastructure offerings.
Experience with IBM Technology Portfolio: In‑depth knowledge of IBM’s Software and Infrastructure products, including Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, Hybrid Cloud Platform, Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW.
Technical Strategy Development: Skilled in developing and executing technical strategies that align with client business objectives, incorporating IBM’s Technology Portfolio.
Client‑Facing Experience: Proven ability to work closely with clients, understanding their business and technical challenges, and developing tailored solutions to address their needs.
