Position Overview SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a
Product Management Analyst
to join its Product Development team. This role offers the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment within a profitable and rapidly growing company.
As a Product Management Analyst, you will analyze complex insurance data, monitor key performance indicators, and support strategic decisions related to the company’s product portfolio. Your insights will help drive improvements in
profitability, growth, retention, and operational performance , contributing to long-term business success.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Compile, clean, organize, and analyze complex insurance data to understand and communicate business performance.
Develop and maintain regular reports tracking
key performance indicators (KPIs) .
Monitor product performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Business Strategy Support
Assist in developing proposals and recommendations to address business challenges and align with company objectives.
Analyze performance drivers and provide insights to support product management decisions.
Presentation & Communication
Prepare presentations and reports for business leaders.
Present analytical findings and recommendations when required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with teams across the organization, including:
Actuarial
Sales & Marketing
Program Operations
Support the implementation of product strategies and business initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Product Development team.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
Economics
Business
Mathematics
Statistics
Data or Business Analytics
Actuarial Science OR
Bachelor’s degree in any field with relevant analytical experience.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in an analytical role within the insurance industry.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office , particularly
Excel .
Basic to intermediate experience with data analysis tools such as:
R
SQL
Python
Power BI
Experience with
R programming
is a plus.
Professional Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate results on time.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Curiosity and willingness to learn.
Eligibility
Must be authorized to work in the
United States .
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
homeowners insurance .
Knowledge of
data science techniques .
Familiarity with
data visualization tools
such as
Shiny .
Experience with
insurance pricing or product management .
