Sales Counselor

Job Summary
Estimated first‑year earnings range: $50,000 - $80,000. Uncapped commission and earnings. Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for six weeks.
This position sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services and inventory, as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.
Responsibilities
Sell funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise.
Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
Generate leads through walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales.
Preferred 1 year of sales experience.
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
Experience with a CRM preferred.
Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality handling sensitive information.
Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
