
Sales Account Manager

This position is commission-based; the salary indicated above represents only the base compensation and does not include commissions earned within this role.
We are looking for a
Sales Account Manager
to support the growth of Kwik Trip’s commercial fuel business by managing and expanding an existing portfolio of medium- to large-sized accounts. In this role, you will deepen account relationships, analyze territory performance, and strengthen Kwik Trip’s competitive position through fuel account strategies that increase overall market share.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial accounts.
Introduce program enhancements and solutions that increase fuel utilization.
Review territory performance and adjust strategies based on data and trends.
Use reports to identify declining markets and strengthen market presence.
Develop relationships with regional and national fleets to expand market share.
Pursue opportunities for bulk fuel sales.
Regularly schedule in-person business meetings with customers partnered with continuous phone and email communication
Support loyalty program participation and recognize marketing opportunities.
Stay informed on competitor offerings to effectively guide customers.
Understand Kwik Trip/Kwik Star fuel types to assist customer decision-making.
Collaborate with retail leadership across the territory along with multiple internal departments
What We’re Looking For
Proven Experience in sales, account management, or related work.
Ability to build long-term customer relationships and trust by providing exceptional service
Strong in-person and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze data, anticipate customer needs, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office products.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to travel as needed for account and territory support.
Preferred Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in sales or account management.
Knowledge of negotiation strategies and fuel or financial environments.
Familiarity with fleet card programs or fuel product offerings.
Physical Requirements
Mostly sitting occasionally standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
Frequent hand and finger use.
Frequent driving of motor vehicles.
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, with night, weekend, and overnight travel as needed for account and territory support.
The territory includes Eastern Wisconsin. Candidates living in this area are preferred but not required.
