Job Profile: Business Sales Executive
Primary objective of the job:
The Business Sales Executive will be responsible for targeted canvassing across the island and unearthing new business opportunities from our SME base and the serviceable market. In addition to delivering on sales targets, a key function to this role is to maintain revenues while managing all issues and escalations from customers through the appropriate channels. This is a target-based role so achievement of target is essential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and meet their monthly sales quota from their assigned customers.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Forecast and track monthly sales performance, account-based activity and sales pipeline.
To develop and maintain a deep understanding of the full Digicel portfolio of both GSM and ICT solutions.
To maintain a high level of awareness of both local and market trends that could support new business development
Update Salesforce.com with activities including logging of meetings, opportunities and follow all established processes
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
Five (5) CXC or GCE Subjects (inclusive of English and Mathematics or an equivalent numeric qualification).
At least six (6) months working experience in a Customer Service Environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications; Word, PowerPoint, Office Outlook, and Excel
A track record of high performance against quota
Ability to demonstrate capability for successful account management, GSM sales and ICT sales.
At least 3 years’ experience in Sales or ICT
