What You’ll Do We are seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Representative, Health Systems (SaaS) to help drive pipeline growth within the health system market. This role requires experience selling SaaS solutions to health systems and an understanding of how to engage hospital and health system stakeholders in meaningful conversations about operational and clinical technology solutions. You will identify, engage and qualify prospective health system customers for SureCost’s platform, helping introduce our solutions to key stakeholders across hospital and pharmacy operations.

As a key member of the Marketing team supporting Sales, you will focus on generating qualified opportunities with health systems through thoughtful outreach, research and engagement with decision‑makers. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Marketing to ensure messaging resonates with buyers and to continually refine outreach strategies based on market insights.

Success in this role requires curiosity, persistence and strong communication skills. You’ll spend your time researching target organizations, developing personalized outreach strategies and engaging prospective customers through multiple channels to schedule qualified demos for the Sales team. Your day to day will include:

Research target health systems and hospital organizations to understand their operational structure, pharmacy workflows and key decision‑makers

Identify and engage prospective buyers through outbound outreach including phone, email and LinkedIn

Develop personalized outreach strategies tailored to the needs, challenges and priorities of each health system prospect

Communicate the value of SureCost’s solutions and generate interest that leads to qualified demo opportunities for the Sales team

Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders across hospital pharmacy, supply chain and operational leadership teams

Maintain consistent follow‑up with prospects through multiple touchpoints to move opportunities forward

Partner with Sales to coordinate and schedule demos with qualified prospects

Track outreach activities, engagement and performance metrics within HubSpot and other sales systems

Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales to share insights from prospect conversations and refine messaging and outreach strategies

Stay informed about trends, challenges and regulatory changes impacting health systems and hospital pharmacy operations

Participate in ongoing training and enablement to deepen understanding of SureCost’s solutions and improve prospecting effectiveness

Consistently meet or exceed outreach, demo booking and pipeline contribution goals

What You’ll Need Required Experience

1–3 years of experience in a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative or similar outbound sales role

Experience conducting outbound prospecting through cold calling, email and social outreach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage healthcare stakeholders professionally

Ability to research target accounts and identify appropriate decision‑makers within complex organizations

Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or ZoomInfo

Highly organized with strong time management and ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously

Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented with a strong desire to contribute to pipeline growth

Strongly Preferred Experience

Experience selling to health systems, hospitals or healthcare provider organizations

Experience working in B2B healthcare technology or SaaS organizations

Familiarity with healthcare operational or regulatory environments

Experience collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing teams in a revenue‑driven organization

The estimated base salary range for this role is $50,000/year, plus an annual commission target of $37,380/year for an OTE of $87,380/year.

Commission opportunity is uncapped.

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all of these factors. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
