Key Responsibilities

As a Credit Representative, you will be responsible for managing B2B accounts and driving timely collections while providing strong customer service:

• Monitor daily aging reports and follow up on past‑due balances
• Research and resolve disputed or unapplied items on customer accounts
• Recommend credit holds, payment plans, and escalations as appropriate
• Maintain professional communication with customers to ensure payments are received timely
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer First, and Credit leadership to resolve issues delaying payment
• Document all account activity accurately in the system
• Support reconciliations, reporting, and special projects
• Provide clear, concise updates on high‑risk accounts
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and SLAs

The Credit Representative will help protect company cash flow, reduce delinquency, and maintain strong customer relationships across an assigned portfolio.

Experience

• Associate degree preferred (or equivalent B2B credit/collections experience)
• 2+ years of B2B credit/collections or customer‑facing A/R experience
• Experience managing a multi‑million‑dollar portfolio strongly preferred
• Must have strong negotiation, issue‑resolution, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with AS400 or large ERP systems is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication required — the Credit Representative must be professional, clear, and customer‑focused
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret aging reports, payment trends, and customer credit data
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish‑speaking) candidates are highly encouraged and strongly preferred
