Senior Business Analyst

Data Migration Leadership: Lead and facilitate data migration efforts from mainframe environment to a modern SaaS platform, ensuring accuracy, security, and integrity of financial, billing, and tax data. Business Process Analysis: Analyze current financial, billing, and tax processes, identify gaps, inefficiencies, and dependencies, and propose optimized solutions for integration with the new SaaS solution. Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Work closely with the City of Baltimore stakeholders to capture and document business and technical requirements, including data mapping, transformation rules, workflows, and reporting needs. Collaboration with Technical and Business Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators, data analysts, and SaaS vendors to design, test, and deploy the migration solution. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between Baltimore City departments and the project team, facilitating clear communication, status updates, and alignment of expectations. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute testing strategies, including data validation, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews. Change Management: Support change management initiatives, including end-user training, documentation of new processes, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new SaaS solution.
