
Real Estate Operations, Emerging Talent Intern (Summer)

Hourly Rate: $19.00 (Undergraduate) , $21.00 (Graduate)
All internship positions are onsite and require regular, in-person attendance at the designated work location.
Real Estate Operations is responsible for directing the procurement, administration, budget, leasing, and tenant management of all MTA-wide Real Estate needs. The Real Estate function is the only function which is fully contractually controlled and managed by MTA Headquarters on behalf of all its operating agencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Funding requests Budget Development Contractual analysis Assist with design intake/convert program requirements into test fits and scope definitions Building Complaints Review drawing sets and submittals for compliance Other operations/administrative duties as needed PROJECTS:
Participate in matters related to Property Management agreements, including funding requests, budget development and contractual analysis. Assist employees on work order requests to ensure compliance. Respond and act accordingly to building complaints and tenant requests. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of AutoCad and Blue Bleam. The candidate should possess organizational, analytical , communication , and strong writing skills. The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player. REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Matriculated in an undergraduate program in good standing with at least 2.5 GPA AND/OR matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA Major(s) Preferred: Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering ,or related field.
