Inside Sales Specialist

You in This Role As the Inside Sales Specialist you will be overseeing and optimizing the company’s inside sales operations, with a strong focus on pipeline management, sales funnel oversight, and customer relationship development. This role will lead the inside B2B sales function, ensure CRM data integrity, develop inbound sales strategies, and collaborate cross‑functionally with outbound sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, and Product Development.

A Day in the Life

The Inside Sales Specialist starts the day by reviewing the sales pipeline and CRM dashboard, checking new inbound leads, open opportunities, follow‑up tasks, and forecast accuracy.

They quickly assess pipeline health: what’s moving, what’s stalled, and where attention is needed. Any gaps in data, missing notes, or unclear next steps are flagged for immediate cleanup to maintain CRM integrity.

Providing direction, answering questions, and prioritizing work.

A significant portion of the day is spent communicating with inbound B2B customers—integrators and enterprise buyers.

The Inside Sales Specialist is expected to confidently speak to drone components, technical specifications, and use cases.

Provide clear direction, performance management, and professional development for direct reports.

Foster a collaborative, team‑oriented environment across departments

What You’ll Do

Oversee all aspects of pipeline management and sales funnel performance

Ensure timely lead follow‑up, accurate opportunity tracking, and consistent sales updates

Maintain CRM data integrity, including documentation of opportunities, communications, and forecasting

Managing and nurturing relationships with inbound B2B customers

Monitoring sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy

Coordinating internally to resolve complex orders and delivery timelines

Leading team meetings, reviewing sales activity, and refining processes

What You’ll Bring

1 ‑ 2 years’ experience with CRM systems in an enterprise environment (i.e., Salesforce, Hub Spot, Net Suite, etc.)

Proven experience in inside sales with prior people management responsibilities

Strong understanding of sales funnel management, pipeline oversight, and forecasting

Excellent customer communication skills across phone, email, and web‑based platforms

Demonstrated ability to create and implement inbound and outbound sales systems

High level of organization and attention to detail

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions

E‑commerce experience

Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse personality types

Team‑oriented mindset; role interacts with most departments

High aptitude for drone technology or electronic products

Preferred:

Experience with FPV (First Person View) systems or drone components

HubSpot CRM experience

Shopify experience

Telephone Sales
