Inside Sales Lead

The Inside Sales Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the inside sales pipeline, and ensuring seamless alignment with Customer Experience (CX), Customer Support and Technical Support teams. This role blends

sales leadership, revenue ownership, CRM discipline, pipeline management, and customer‑centric collaboration

across pool, landscape, and architectural lighting channels. You will lead the inside sales function day‑to‑day, owning sales targets, guiding pipeline quality, enabling team performance, and ensuring customers experience a consistent and high‑quality journey. Key Responsibilities

Own and drive inside sales revenue across pool, landscape, and architectural lighting segments. Proactively follow up on inbound leads, quotes, and dormant accounts to convert opportunities into orders. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across product categories and applications. Support external sales reps with quoting, product selection, and deal progression. Quoting & Commercial Support

Prepare accurate, timely, and competitive quotes aligned with pricing and margin targets. Review specifications, drawings, and bills of quantity to ensure correct product selection. Manage quote follow-ups and maintain a strong quote-to-order conversion rate. Assist with project pricing, value engineering, and product substitutions when required. Customer & Channel Management

Act as a key point of contact for distributors, contractors, pool builders, electricians, and designers. Provide clear guidance on lead times, availability, technical considerations, and order status. Build long-term customer relationships through responsiveness, trust, and technical confidence. Technical & Product Leadership

Maintain strong working knowledge of lighting systems, including voltage, drivers, controls, IP ratings, and installation considerations. Assist customers with basic technical guidance and escalate complex issues appropriately. Support product launches, range updates, and training initiatives for customers and internal teams. Lead and continuously improve inside sales processes, CRM usage, and quoting discipline. Ensure CRM data, pipelines, and customer records are accurate and up to date. Provide coaching, shadowing, and sales enablement to Inside Sales team members, reinforcing customer‑experience‑aligned behaviours. Provide reporting and insights on pipeline health, conversion rates, and customer trends. Ensure accuracy of CRM records, forecasting reliability, and consistent reporting on revenue, pipeline health, and team performance. Maintain CRM data standards in alignment with CX Manager reporting frameworks and automation rules. Oversee consistent use of customer notes, product details, installation context, and other downstream‑critical information. Skills & Experience

Required Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading team members. Proven experience in inside sales, sales operations, external sales Strong commercial mindset with the ability to close and influence outcomes Experience working with technical or specification-based products High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Confident communicator with customers and internal stakeholders Comfortable working in CRM and ERP systems Highly Desirable

Experience in

lighting, electrical, pool, landscape, or architectural products Understanding of project-based sales and specification workflows Experience supporting external sales teams or managing sales pipelines Ability to read plans, schedules, or lighting layouts Personal Attributes
