Job Summary We are seeking a Social Media & Digital Communications Coordinator to help build, manage, and evolve a thoughtful, engaging, and authentic online presence across multiple digital platforms. This role helps translate the spirit of Mission Pediatrics into a trusted, joyful, and recognizable digital voice.

Position Status Full-Time Regular

Estimated Weekly Hours 30-40+

Core Responsibilities

Design, manage, and maintain a strategic content calendar aligned with organizational priorities and seasonal relevance.

Develop, edit, and prepare short-form and long-form digital content across approved platforms while preserving clinical intent and institutional tone.

Coordinate with physicians, administrators, vendors, and internal committees to source, refine, and prepare content for review and approval.

Monitor online reputation channels and draft responses or escalation recommendations consistent with organizational standards.

Support community engagement initiatives, events, and educational outreach through digital channels.

Track performance metrics and prepare insight-focused reports emphasizing quality, trust, and engagement rather than vanity metrics.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Understanding of digital platforms, audience behavior, and reputational risk in healthcare environments.

Strong writing and editing skills, short-form video editing capability, organizational coordination, and sound judgment.

Ability to exercise discretion, recognize risk, accept oversight, and operate effectively within approval-based workflows.

Professional restraint, emotional maturity, respect for clinical authority, and comfort operating without personal branding or public attribution.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience managing digital or social media content in a professional setting. Ability to collaborate with clinicians and adhere to compliance expectations.

Preferences

Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or reputation-sensitive environments. Demonstrated ability to balance creativity with restraint.
