QUALIFICATIONS
Meets all qualifications for Category 1 Class A
Demonstrates computer skills necessary to efficiently operate Microsoft Word, Google, Google Docs, Rank One, Excel, Skyward, Corel Draw, Eventlink
Demonstrates ability to multi-task
Exhibits a pleasant disposition
Demonstrates ability to work with students, staff and public
Public relations experience preferred
Bookkeeping experience preferred
Bonded or ability to be bonded at standard underwriting guidelines
Successful interview with High School Athletic Director and/or Asst. Athletic Director
JOB DESCRIPTION
Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director; Athletic Office Manager
Ticket Manager – prepares all starting monies for all events, counts and records ticket and concession income, makes all deposits. Review with State Auditor
Athletic Department accounts receivable and accounts payable; pay all event entry fees
Tracks, compiles and submits payroll for event workers & concession workers
Keeps books for all Coaches Fundraising
Financial reports for IHSAA
Responsible for payroll for all event workers
Submits IHSAA Tournament Entry Forms by deadline
Works with community patrons, advertisers and sponsors in producing the annual Sports Program; invoices and receipts donations and payments
Prepares and attends yearly coaches meeting
Assists with general office duties such as copying, faxing, typing, email, voice mail, bulk mailings and corporate distributions
Cisco Voice System
Eventlink – send and receive contest and officials contracts
Schedule transportation for away events through event link
Communicates with student athletes and parents
Assists with athlete’s physicals, emergency records and transfers
Sell and inventory athletic merchandise
Assists coaches with ordering product
Works with Graphic Art for printing needs
Dispenses contracts and answers questions for building rental
Athletic Banquets – compiles athlete records for achievement presentations at four awards banquets; communicates with facility coordinators
Athletic awards – deciphers and records individual athletic/academic achievement on Skyward
Compiles athlete eligibility from Skyward
Responds to Coaches requests
Contract with vendors in receiving and billing
Works with concession stand supervisors and vendors
Communicates with custodians and maintenance
Set up hospitality facilities
Assists with Wellness Department needs as requested
Exhibits a pleasant disposition, works well with students, staff and public
Performs other duties as directed by the Athletic Department Administrators
Meets with auditors along with Athletic Director
Emails to parents/students if needed
All other duties assigned
