Overview
The Wilds Golf Club is an upscale 18 hole public facility designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. The facility includes a renovated restaurant, banquet facility, and many more amenities.
We are seeking a motivated and personable Golf Operations Intern who is eager to learn all aspects of golf facility management. This internship offers hands-on experience in daily golf operations, tournament coordination, merchandising, and player services in a high-volume, customer focused environment.
Experience Required
Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
Passion for the game of golf and a desire to purse a career in the golf industry
Interest in enrolling in the PGA PGAM program
Previous golf and/or customer service expience is a plus
Ability to multi-task
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of EZ Links and Golf Genius is a plus
Essential Responsibilities Golf Shop Operations
Manage tee times, phone calls, and member/guest check in
Assist in tournament operations and event execution
Support merchandising, retail displays, and inventory management
Assist with junior golf camps
Assist with organizing and scoring of leagues
Outside Operations
Greet all guests upon arrival and provide execptional service
Clean guests clubs following play
Clean, stock, and stage golf carts
Maintain and manage the practice facility
