The Sales Enablement & Training team is responsible for the development and deployment of processes, tools, training, and communication that enable customer-facing teams to execute the core aspects of their jobs more effectively and efficiently. Our work directly contributes to sales efficiency, revenue performance, and employee morale.

Patterson Companies has an exciting opportunity to participate in our summer Internship Program! The intern will participate in meaningful work, along with making contributions to team efforts in our fast‑paced, people‑first corporate environment. This internship will be a hybrid position with working both remotely and on‑site at our corporate office located in Eagan, MN.

As an intern on the Sales Enablement & Training team, you will gain exposure to several enablement tools, analyze data to prompt action, support our new hire training programs, development enablement & training assets. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to partner and work with several areas across our corporate and Dental departments.

Analyze and review data to support the goals of the Dental Sales organization

Identify trends in data and make recommendations for improvement

Assist with logistics management of sales training programs

Gain experience with systems such as Seismic, Workday, and SAP/Fiori

Conduct training needs analyses to uncover training goals and objectives

Leverage tools such as Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Articulate 360, and Snag It

Work with a variety of teams, including Marketing, Finance, HR, and Sales on a variety of training projects.

Job Qualifications

Entering Junior or Senior year and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field.

Interest in adult learning theory and instructional design principles

Strong problem‑solving capabilities

Strong analytical skills

Effective communication skills

Thrives in ambiguous situations

Resilient to overcome obstacles

Driven and demonstrates a bias for action

Highly collaborative

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Initiative and desire to learn

Reliable internet access when not working in the office.

The starting pay for this role is $20 - $25 per hour.
