Interior Design/Furniture Dealer Experience Internship

Description The position is for an Interior Design/Furniture Dealership internship to help support our Design and Sales Team with commercial design and furniture projects, giving you the opportunity to work with experienced designers and gain valuable insights and knowledge for working on commercial projects in our region.
This is an in-person internship position located in Salt Lake City, UT.
Essential Functions
Attend client presentations and meetings
Assist with finish selections, coordination, and documentation
Coordination with industry representatives
Assist with furniture/design packages
Participate with job site visits and verifications
Finish Library maintenance
Assist with showroom/event coordination
Learn the CET software program
Enhance AutoCAD skills
Requirements
An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between fall 2026 – Spring 2028
Major or certificate in Interior Design
Experience with AutoCAD / Revit
Experience with Adobe design
Ability to understand Construction Documents
Basic understanding of Commercial Codes
Knowledge of Excel and Word
Solid professional and personal work ethic
Strong time management and organization skills
Problem Solver and detail driven
Working Conditions
In-office Internship.
Travel may be required for project site visits.
Part Time 20-30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $17/hr
