Actuary
to join their underwriting and actuarial team. This highly visible individual contributor role offers the opportunity to support and lead advanced rating tools, pricing analyses, and portfolio management initiatives across Commercial Primary and Excess GL lines, with additional exposure to Cyber, Renewable Energy, D&O, and PI. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong and business‑savvy actuary looking to work closely with underwriting leadership, innovate within a collaborative environment, and potentially grow into a people management role.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
4+ years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance (or equivalent advanced degree with 2+ years)
ACAS or FCAS required; candidates with 5+ CAS exams actively pursuing ACAS may be considered
Experience in Commercial Lines pricing, preferably in Excess & Specialty and/or General Liability
Exposure to Cyber and other emerging lines is a plus
Hands‑on experience supporting and improving rating tools, with a focus on underwriting efficiency and data capture
Strong analytical skills with background in rate plan development, ILF reviews, segmentation, predictive modeling, and benchmarking
