
International Business Development Snr

Description:
The Lockheed Martin International Government Affairs Senior – Indo-Pacific position will serve as a “voice of the customer” and help drive collaboration between Lockheed Martin’s Business Areas and corporate functions, resulting in consistent action and messaging. This position directly supports the Director, Lockheed Martin International Government Affairs, Indo-Pacific.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate and support Lockheed Martin’s engagement with designated foreign embassies.
Represent Lockheed Martin at a variety of external events.
Generate white papers and presentations to support international customer activities in the US.
Support executive travel into the region (e.g., meeting preparation, coordination of strategic messaging, etc.).
Assist with coordination of executive engagement at tradeshows and conferences in the region.
Support planning and execution of customer meetings at Lockheed Martin facilities.
Research and maintain international partner/competitor information.
Provide direct support to new business efforts as directed.
Provide coverage for other regions or programs as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of team mission.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with and keen understanding of strategic issues impacting the Indo-Pacific region and the U.S. relationship with allies in the region.
Knowledgeable in business, political, economic, and international government affairs.
Experience in presenting complex strategies and information to both peers and senior‑level management.
Able to interact and communicate effectively with a culturally diverse range of international government and industry representatives.
Excellent writing skills.
US Citizen.
Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Master's degree in business, international relations or related field.
Past experience working directly with senior U.S. or foreign officials on regional security, defense or commercial issues.
Past experience working with an internationally focused business council, think tank, or institute.
Understanding of regional culture and customer procurement processes.
Past experience working and/or living overseas.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
Work Location and Schedule: Onsite full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
