You will be the International Communications Specialist for the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Program Communications Team. Our team is responsible for shaping global narratives that highlight MFC products and capabilities.
What You Will Be Doing As the International Communications Specialist you will be responsible for crafting and delivering compelling stories that expand MFC’s international presence.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Design and execute integrated communication plans for global audiences.
Create multilingual content, including press releases, briefs, and digital media.
Partner with business units, engineering, and marketing to align messaging.
Manage relationships with international media and stakeholder communities.
Measure impact of communications initiatives and refine strategies.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications or related field from an accredited college
Must have the ability to travel
Proven, superior writing and editing experience
Excellent prioritization and time management with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
5 years of professional related experience with a bachelor's; or 3 years of professional related experience with a related Master’s degree
Willingness to work during hours that require meeting the objectives and deadlines with colleagues in various time zones around the world
Desired Skills
Motivated self‑starter and advanced planner who performs without appreciable direction and works effectively under competing priorities and tight deadlines
Experienced storyteller with the ability to turn highly technical, complex subjects into purposeful and easily digestible content
Strong business acumen and aptitude to learn a broad portfolio
Strong relationship building skills; collaborative and responsive with fellow communicators and stakeholders
Experience supporting global communications or business development pursuits
Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
