Dover Staffing
is seeking four (
4 ) Compliance Specialist I professionals to support a major State of Georgia agency within their Shared Services Center. This team manages high volume supplier data updates, validating contact and payment information for more than 100,000 suppliers and processing over 150,000 requests annually. The role ensures supplier profiles are accurate, so payments are issued correctly and on time.
The Compliance Specialist I
will monitor incoming supplier change requests, perform pre screening and maintenance tasks, verify documentation, mitigate fraud risk, and provide customer support to internal and external stakeholders. This position requires strong ethics, attention to detail, and adherence to state and federal compliance standards.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Communicate compliance requirements and updates clearly Interpret and analyze complex compliance data Collaborate with cross functional teams Conduct reviews and audits on supplier maintenance requests Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers Coordinate data management and quality assurance functions Determine compliance with state and federal rules and regulations Evaluate data, perform validations, and maintain accurate records Monitor, track, and document compliance activities Review applications for accuracy and adherence to policies and law Research state codes, federal regulations, and industry guidelines Respond to escalations in a timely manner Follow established review processes to ensure quality service Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision Participate in ongoing training to maintain proficiency
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED Two (2) years of job related experience Some positions may require a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Ability to analyze customer requests and evaluate issues across multiple Georgia state agencies Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication and active listening skills

Candidates must:
Successfully pass a comprehensive background check (criminal, employment, education, credit, and professional license verification, as applicable) Reside and work in the State of Georgia throughout employment Be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
