
Senior Associate - VP Equity Asset Manager (Commercial Real Estate)

We are conducting a CRE search on behalf of a well-capitalized, vertically integrated commercial real estate owner-operator for a Senior Associate up to Vice President–level professional to join its Equity Asset Management team. This is a high-impact, value-creation role focused on driving performance across a portfolio of institutional-quality assets across the Sunbelt market.

Responsibilities
Lead asset-level strategy to enhance value, improve operating performance, and maximize investor returns
Oversee cross-functional teams (leasing, property management, construction, marketing) to execute business plans
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and asset business plans
Monitor financial and operational performance; conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
Support acquisition underwriting, due diligence, and integration of new assets
Play an active role in disposition planning and execution
Negotiate and approve leases, amendments, and key property-level agreements
Prepare quarterly investor reporting, including asset narratives and performance commentary
Provide strategic input on development and capital improvement projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management or ownership-side roles
Proven ability to drive asset-level strategy and financial performance
Advanced financial and analytical skills
Strong communication skills with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality
