About us A well‑capitalized, privately held multifamily owner‑developer and operator is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a new ground‑up project in Indianapolis. Compensation & Benefits

$90,000–$115,000 base salary and per diem for travel

10% annual performance bonus

Project completion bonus

$2,500/month per diem for travelers (adjustable for cost of living)

Typical Duties & Responsibilities

Provide full on‑site leadership for ground‑up multifamily construction projects

Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, inspections, and site logistics

Maintain and update the master construction schedule on a weekly basis

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and municipal officials

Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe, compliant jobsite at all times

Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and material submittals

Track and schedule all material deliveries and site activities

Conduct weekly site meetings and communicate progress to project leadership

Oversee quality control, punch lists, inspections, and closeout activities

Review change orders and invoices for accuracy prior to approval

Ensure all work complies with project documents, local codes, and owner expectations

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground‑up multifamily projects

Strong background in slab‑on‑grade and wood‑frame construction

Experience coordinating with building officials and permitting authorities

Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage schedules in fast‑paced environments

Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)

OSHA 30‑hour certification preferred

Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Open to traveling Superintendent candidates (stability preferred over job‑hopping)
